Infinity - Large Extending Dining Room Table in Oak or Walnut
Why, I can hear you asking, is this table called Infinity? Well this solid oak or walnut extending dining table is made using two incredibly clever techniques, new to our way of working, and producing a table which creates a stunning effect, combined with great versatility.
Firstly this table extends, by a butterfly extension system hidden within the frame of the table. No banging of knees, just a very sleek mechanism. The Infinity extending dining table can be made with either 1, 2 or 3 extending solid walnut or oak flaps. How does it work, well the beautifully mitred table leg end frame, glides away from the main part of the table, revealing the flaps which can then be flipped out with one hand - easy!
The second technique used in the making of this contemporary design is how the table top is made from solid walnut or oak with the wood grain running across the table and then the same piece of wood is mitred and waterfalls to create the side of the table.
Our Infinity dining table is probably one of our most popular solid walnut designs and even in solid oak finds its way happily into homes both in the country and the city.
