Slab – Handmade Solid Oak or Walnut Dining Room Table
We all love simple thick sections of solid wood, and when the setting is correct these simple but very carefully made solid wood tables, surrounded by sumptuous upholstered chairs provide the perfect platform for entertaining lots of friends.
These incredibly solid wood tables can be made with extension flaps if you need additional space. They are designed with 40mm to 60mm thick tabletops with square edges.
This mighty solid table shows off our detailed timber selection and working methods with sturdy 10cm, 12cm or even 14cm solid wood legs and table top thicknesses of up to 54cm. This table; as with all our designs, is handmade and can be made in either solid oak or solid walnut as a fixed top or as an extending table. The legs can be positioned to give minimum interference with chairs and your legs and is a perfect design to be combined with solid oak or walnut benches to slide friends in along table lengths.
