Vision - Extending Large Oak or Walnut Dining Room Table
This contemporary dining table is designed to "float" in your room bringing an interesting, extra perspective through its graceful curves and proportion. It looks wonderful both as a very long table in a large room and also as a narrow table in longer rooms.
Although solid oak is my favourite this also looks wonderful as a solid maple table or solid walnut dining table.
This contemporary dining table is difficult to make and requires very high precision due to the long curves.

- Slow graceful curve on long edges of table
- Suggest 30mm solid oak top and 70mm tapered legs
- Straight bevel edge profile allows table to “float”
- Choice of square edge profile creates great feel of strength in design
- Extension flaps can be either 50cm wide or 65cm
- As the main table is narrower at the ends add a little extra length to get the correct seating plan. 210cm for an 8 seater (+4 with flaps), 250cm for a 10 seater (+4 with flaps)
