Sabre – Dining Room or Kitchen Solid Wood Fixed Top Table
The Sabre dining table features thick top sections and gently curved corners reminiscent of Edwardian tables teamed with a highly styled and curvaceous blade-like leg, to really spice up the design. This incredibly solid table is perfect for wide open kitchens and for use with benches either in the middle of a room or against walls.
The Sabre leg requires very accurate machining by hand to achieve the exacting curves but the result is a very rewarding and unusual table, which comforting historic overtones.
This stunningly substantial table really is a table to stroke and touch, and the great curve on the outside of the legs is most satisfying. If you prefer a “safer” leg design then the leg can be curved on the outer corner yet still square on the two other edges which gives the table much more of a “kitchen feel”.
This table can also be made with a stone or slate top to create an additional dimension to this exciting design.
