How to find Berrydesign
Please note that Satnav's tend to take you about 1 mile too far south so it is best to use our directions alongside a Satnav.
Directions when coming from the North
From M4 turn off junction 13 to Newbury - stay on the A34 heading towards Winchester and Southampton until you see the HAMPSHIRE sign at which time take inside lane and turn off to A343 (signpost Highclere/Wash Common) at next junction, (take care very late signing on this junction).
At the roundabout turn right along the A343 through Highclere. **Continue through Highclere passing the Yew Tree Inn on the right hand side. After another mile, up a very steep hill, still on the A343 you will see a grass triangle and a turning to Crux Easton on your left. We are the White Georgian house on the triangle in front of you. Park directly in front of our black wooden gates. The entrance to the barn is on the right hand side inside the gates.
Directions when coming from the South
- Leave the M3 at Junction 8 and take the A303 towards Andover.
- Then take the A34 North towards Newbury, until you see the sign to Highclere and Wash Common after the Tothill service station (Do not take the earlier Highclere signs).
- Turn right at the T-junction along the A343 towards Highclere.
- Then follow directions as above**
The Yew Tree Inn:
The Yew Tree Inn at the bottom of the hill is a great place for lunch!
Also just half an hour away is the city of Winchester with is small streets and cathedral and also some wonderful places to eat and stay (Hotel du Vin is expensive but an experience not to be forgotten!)
Stonehenge or the Isle of Wight is also 50 minutes down the road for the more adventurous!
