Any use of its contents, including copying or storing in whole or in part, other than for your own personal and non commercial use is prohibited without our express permission. We reserve the right to withdraw special offers without notice if necessary.
We have taken care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that the prices quoted are correct and that all products have been described accurately. However we reserve the right to alter prices quoted due to incorrect price due to typographical error or other error in pricing information. In any event, please check the details in our confirmation email on receipt and notify us immediately if any amendments need to be made. Price and availability information is subject to change without notice.
Any dimensions given may have a small tolerance in them due to the nature of the wood. Please note that the colour of each piece of furniture will vary slightly according to the nature of the solid wood. Berrydesign are committed to always working with solid timber and use methods and processes which enhance the beauty of this natural material. As with all natural materials, its colour may change over time. During its maturity wood may lighten. All advice given by Berrydesign Ltd is to help you make your decision to give you the greatest satisfaction. Your order confirmation will include wood type, dimensions, chosen polish and prices. If your order is a bespoke design also a design drawing. It is your responsibility to check that all of these details are correct . An outline drawing can be provided for any of your dining tables, extending tables, sideboards, cabinets, bookcases, libraries or boardroom tables on request to ensure that all details are understood. Your privacy is of paramount importance to us and we have pledged as a company that your personal data will always be for our internal use only and will never be used or sold to any third party. We will never reveal your name, address email or contact details to anyone outside Berrydesign. We only hold your information on file, so that we can access your order easily in the future for ordering polish, our re-polishing services, or for purchasing more furniture. We may occasionally send you our new brochures when they are published, and emails with our latest designs and offers. All emails have an "opt-out" option. Delivery and returns
Our usual delivery time is between 12-16 weeks from your deposit payment, however these times can vary at different times of the year especially during our summer break, Christmas and New Year. Faster delivery times may sometimes be possible on certain designs by special request. Delivery will be confirmed to you by email and followed up with a phone call to arrange delivery approximately 14 days before due date.
Delivery costs are always quoted or included in your order confirmation. Delivery charges are costed on a mileage basis. Your furniture will be delivered fully-assembled in the position you want and installed by our own team who made it for you so will take huge care during delivery. We can arrange deliveries all around the world. All deliveries by Berrydesign are fully insured by us. Although damage during transit is incredibly rare at Berrydesign, you will be required to sign a delivery note on acceptance of your delivery. We will deliver your furniture to the address you specify on your order. It is important that this address is accurate. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage once the furniture has been delivered according to your delivery instructions. Risk of damage or loss of your furniture passes to you at the time of your delivery. Please let us know within 48 hours if you find any problems with your furniture. We offer a one year manufacturer's guarantee. In the event of a faulty operation, we will visit and repair the fault (only possible within UK mainland) up to a year after delivery. Instructions for your furniture will be given on installation and it is important that these are followed, to avoid accidental damage.
As all of our furniture is made to order, returns are not possible, unless there is a fault in the making of it or a quality issue. Deliveries are made by our fully qualified furniture craftsmen and they will go through a checklist to ensure you are happy with the furniture you have ordered. Our general terms and conditions are on the bottom of your order confirmation. Please ensure you have read them. Our prices do not include local country taxes, tariffs or import duties for export. These are to be paid for by the customer.
We require a 50% deposit payment of the total amount of your order upon receipt of your order confirmation and the balance 7-14 days before delivery. All deposits are non-refundable, due to each piece of furniture being made specifically for each order and started from the moment your deposit is paid. Payments can be made by card, bank transfer or cheque to Berrydesign Ltd.
All Berrydesign online purchases take place in a safe environment using the latest security technology to protect our customers. Your card information is automatically encrypted to ensure your transactions are private and protected as they travel over the internet. Your payment details are not held by us or any other company, only in an encrypted format by our payment gateway (Sagepay).
Berrydesign is proud to be certified as PCI compliant by Security Metrics. This is annually reviewed for certification. PCI compliance is the most stringent auditing of online security systems, requested by all major banks for online transactions.

Protection of Our Designs
Berrydesign has spent many years creating and developing its own designs. Therefore, most of all our designs are protected by a legal IP agreement and registered with a lawyer, and all of them are further filed and protected by ACID (Anti Copying In Design) to prevent any copying or use of our designs by any other third party. If our designs are found to have been copied ACID will immediately begin legal proceedings on our behalf.
